Reincarnations: Uncover the Past Download Demo

As far as casual games go, “Reincarnations: Uncover the Past” is probably one of the most downloaded and sought after adventure/puzzle games now available for the PC. As you might know, this game is a direct sequel of last year’s “Reincarnations: Awakening”, and if you liked playing the original game, you’ll likely be pleased with this new adventure. In simple terms, “Reincarnations: Uncover the Past” is essentially a hidden object game with puzzle aspects. You’ll navigate through luscious (but mostly static) environments, looking for objects that you will then have to combine in certain ways to solve puzzles that will allow you to progress through the game. The storyline is actually quite engaging and nicely accomplished, in “Reincarnations: Uncover the past”. While staying faithful to the original Reincarnations game, the sequel does take it one step further, by placing a heavier focus on the unique abilities of the protagonist. In this game you play as Jane, a journalist who’s been wrongfully interned in a private mental hospital, by a deceiving psychiatrist who wishes to exploit her unique skills. As you might remember from the original “Reincarnations”, Jane has a magical pendant that gives her the ability to call back her past lives and actually interact with the environment that was experienced by those previous incarnations. This feature makes for some fascinating and memorable puzzles, and the actual storyline does work like a charm to enhance the atmosphere in the game as well as the actual gaming experience.

One of the most striking aspects about Reincarnations is how levels tend to get expansive. To beat the game, you’ll have to do a surprising amount of thinking, back-tracking and even a bit of pixel hunting. More than once will you think you’re about to beat a level, only to realize you’ve just opened a new room that’s full of several new puzzles. While not outrageously difficult, this is not the kind of game that everyone will be able to breeze through without ever having to refer to a walkthrough. All in all, we feel the difficulty level is spot on, as to deliver a satisfying and noteworthy gaming experience that will draw the attention of casual gamers as well as experienced puzzle gamers.

With its top quality graphics, tight storyline and atmospheric sounds, “Reincarnation: Uncover the past” will provide puzzle enthusiasts with many hours of solid entertainment. It’s currently one of the most popular games in its category, and once you’ve tried it, you’ll quickly realize that’s not by chance. This is a game with superior production values, and its unique reincarnation-flavored themes will peak the curiosity of many players from all walks of life.
